The samples use ODPermit’s editable 48 ft flatbed · 5 axles planning profile. Loaded dimensions, gross weight, 100 state miles and Texas registration are example inputs, not a capacity rating or a route approval. Replace them with your actual setup.

Interstate/divided highways: no car from these dimensional triggers. The divided-road width rule also covers four-lane roads with a center left-turn lane. Depending on the road or permit conditions: A centerline encroachment requires front and rear escorts on two-lane roads. A qualifying port-of-entry detour of at most five miles has a narrow exception. Check current route restrictions.
17′6″-high load example
Example: 9′ wide × 17′6″ high, 75′ overall, 72,000 lb gross, zero overhang or rear projection, ordinary nondivisible freight in daylight. Two-lane primary/secondary roads: 1 front with a height-measuring device. Interstate/divided highways: 1 front (height pole).
