Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from these terms or ODPermit services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, subject to any rights or jurisdiction requirements that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
Who can use ODPermit
You must be at least 18 years old and use ODPermit for business purposes.
What ODPermit provides
- Permit services. We prepare and file oversize and overweight permit applications with state and local agencies for you, coordinate superloads, and arrange escort vehicles and route surveys.
- Free planning tools. The calculator, state pages and Telegram bot estimate permits, fees and escorts. Estimates are planning information, not permits, legal advice or route clearance.
- Workspace software at app.odpermit.com for companies that manage loads, permits, quotes and invoices.
Quotes and payment
- We confirm scope and charges in a quote before any paid work. Prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Quotes list ODPermit’s service fees separately from agency fees and third-party costs, such as escorts and surveys.
- Each agency sets its own fees. If an agency charges a different amount than the quote estimated, your invoice shows the amount the agency charged.
- Invoices are paid online through Stripe. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. ODPermit doesn’t see or store full card numbers.
- Payment is due by the date on the invoice.
Delivery
We send issued permits electronically, by email, in your workspace or in the Telegram permit desk. Nothing is shipped. Agencies set their own review and processing times, so we can’t promise an issue date.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate dimensions, weights, axle spacing, equipment, route and company details. Agencies issue permits on that information.
- Follow every condition of the issued permit, including the route, travel times, escorts and signs. Carry the permit as the agency requires.
- Share only documents you’re allowed to share.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel a request at no charge before we file with an agency or book a provider. Agency fees, third-party costs and work already done are covered in Refunds and cancellations.
Limits
- Agencies decide whether to issue a permit and on what conditions. ODPermit can’t guarantee approval, routes, conditions or timing.
- State pages and estimates summarize official sources as of the dates shown. Check the issued permit and the agency’s current rules before you move.
- To the extent the law allows, ODPermit’s liability for a service is limited to the fees you paid ODPermit for that service. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost revenue or delays, or for fines that result from inaccurate load details or permit conditions that weren’t followed.
Disclaimer
General information only. It is not legal advice and not a permit. ODPermit is operated by Frontline Express LLC, a private company, not a government agency.
We summarize official sources as of the dates shown, but rules change often and a summary can be incomplete or out of date. Only a permit issued by the state or local agency authorizes an oversize or overweight move, and that permit and the agency’s current rules control. Confirm limits, escorts, routes and travel times with the issuing agency before you move a load.
This information is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Frontline Express LLC is not liable for losses, fines or delays that result from relying on it.
Invoices from other companies
Companies that use the ODPermit workspace can invoice you for their own services. Those invoices are between you and that company, under its terms. ODPermit provides the software, and Stripe processes the payment.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Questions: hello@odpermit.com, or message the Telegram permit desk.
